Nowadays, young people are using the Internet regularly to meet their friends, download music and search the web. Used properly, the web is a wonderful tool for our pupils. However, young people need to be aware of the steps they can take to protect themselves from predators and online bullying. The Office for Internet Safety
The Office for Internet Safety has been established by the Government to take a lead responsibility for internet safety in Ireland, particularly as it relates to children. They have produced a range of interesting booklets for parents and children here.
