The yellow flowers recall the yellow Stars of David all Jews were forced to wear under Nazi rule.

Transition Pupils have planted these crocus bulbs. They have followed the steps outlined for making a rain gauge in worksheect 2 of the Green School’s Water Manual (p.21). Water collected is being used to water the crocuses.

In addition plans are afoot to place a water butt in the school’s recently created award winning garden.
